For the Christmas break in December, we were up in the Bay Area. Sunit's uncle-aunty had invited us all over for a family get together. After a few days of quality time with family we decided to drive back. And we decided to the drive along Pacific Highway 1 back to San Diego. We had been on Highway 1 a couple of years back. And we were excited to do it again. I was most excited about the prospect of visiting Monterey and the 17 mile drive once again (my third visit to the place) By paying a nominal $8 per vehicle, one can enter into this state park and drive along the curvy roads around some millionaire dollar homes that lead to some of the most amazing views of the Pacific coastline. Also visible from the drive is the famous Pebble Beach Golf Course. This particular day was a bit cloudy and a little chilly too.
